HOW TO REGISTER

 

You may register for  Spring 2020 Classes during the following times:

Enrollment is ongoing during class days and times.

 

How to Prepare & What To Expect 

What to Bring:

Please bring transcripts from any high schools you have attended, including those from countries outside the U.S. If you do not have a copy of your U.S. transcripts, we can request them for you.

 

What to Expect

  • Registration takes about 1 1/2 hours.
  • Our programs are free, so you do not need any money.
  • During the registration process, you will complete a registration form, take a reading comprehension assessment (short reading test), a math assessment (GED Students ONLY),  and meet with the program manager to discuss your transcripts. You will leave your transcripts with us so we can review them in detail.

 

Enrolling in Class

As a part of the registration process, you will be given a date & time for an enrollment appointment. The purpose of this appointment is to review your goals and to set up your Individual Education Plan.

 

Based on your reading assessment and goals identified in your Individual Education Plan, you will be enrolled in one of the following programs:

 

  1. GED Preparation (Math & Science / English & Social Studies)
  2. High School Diploma (HSD)
  3. Adult Basic Education (ABE): Reading, Writing, Math
  4. College Prep Writing & Technology
